Overview
NOT A HOTEL (renamed NOTA in October 2026) designs architect-led holiday homes in places like Setouchi, Karuizawa, Nasu and Aoshima and sells them online, often as fractional shares. Owners use their nights and the company rents the rest out as a hotel, so it earns on property sales plus management and lodging fees. It has spun out adjacent owner services: NOT A GARAGE for cars, jets and boats, a magazine, and a planned SBI home-loan tie-up. By 2024 it reported ¥22.7B of cumulative contracts and about 600 owners. Equity raised is about ¥23.9B through the 2026 Series D; debt is larger and excluded from our totals.
