Overview
Ubie builds AI-based health tools: a symptom-checker app for patients and an AI questionnaire system used by hospitals and clinics. It was founded in 2017 by Yoshinori Abe and Kota Kubo, who run it as co-CEOs. It also works with pharmaceutical companies on disease-awareness programmes. Google invested in October 2024, and the company said in May 2025 that cumulative funding had passed ¥18B.
